Livre

Livre was born from the idea to blend together the desire for the concept of an Asian-inspired product with the actual perspective of GallottieRadice. The result of this is an armchair that could be define hybrid for the craftmanship applied to the solid wood base; the upper part is instead an enveloping armchair, that feels like a cocoon, very elegant in its shape in contrast with the base which is thick but at the same time tapered, interesting and very soft as a whole.

Memoria

"Memoria" is a furniture project created by Sergio Sesmero for his Final Project of the Official University Degree in Product Design of ESNE. A proposal based on sustainability, functionality and the creation of new sensorial experiences, by the usage of concrete fabric as the main material, which is generally used in civil constructions that is characterized by its high durability, resistance and sustainability. The project arises from a deep study of the changes that are taking place in society, and how these are are affecting the forms of consumption.

Parachute

When listening to Coldplay's first album, it suddenly occurred to the designer to look up the word parachute. It seems that the name parachute comes combining the Italian parare (to protect) with the French chute (to fall). Yusuke Watanabe thought that was a rather fine name. Yusuke Watanabe tried to think of devices that protect against falling. When in use, the plank for the section being used falls, and hangs there. Their coat, their magazine and more this protects them from falling. The sight of looking down on their parachute from up above is rather pleasing, too.

Stanley 2701

Stanley 2701 has simple, clean lines, a monolithic architecture inspired by the mysterious black monolith in Stanley Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey. It has been designed with particular attention to its unique geometry, which allows for direct downlighting and indirect side lighting. Environmentally friendly, the suspension is made from recyclable aluminum. When switched on, soft, gradated lines of light appear on the side surfaces. Off it offers a beautiful play of light and shadow throughout the day. The Stanley lamps can be used alone or in groups.

Green-Backed Tit Nesting Plan

The nest-like installation is created for visitors to get into it, take a rest and find their inner peace. Lighting design starts from the human vision instead of glowing the installation itself. As an art installation which people can get inside, design team focuses on putting attention to create the illumination balance between the environment and the visitors' visual effect. Lighting fixture with proper light distribution and cut-off angle are integrated with the structure of the installation to build a glare-free ambiance which helps to sustain the tranquility of the Sun Moon Lake.

Lorca

The ceiling lamp Lorca is a ceiling lamp that brings a sculptural note to any space, it's a thin rectangular vertical line coming straight from the ceiling, displaying an excerpt of poetry along this line. The poem is attached along one edge of the square body with a perfect reading and highlight to this main feature. The lamp is entirely made in iron and naturally oxidized. The light fixture Led hidden at the end of the body creates an accent light. Through poetry the designer wanted to create a dialogue, between the words, the forms, the textures and the spectator.
