SHADE LAMP

Who does not remember Grandma in her armchair knitting, and just beside her the old lamp with the cloth shade? Perhaps not very clearly, but it does bring back childhood memories. SHADE works without any switch, a simple touch on the “light bulb” is all it takes to dim the luminosity as you wish, or to turn it of. This innovative lamp has a true recognition value and universality; its various facets allow it to appeal to everyone. The lamp bring several generations together, past and future. Negative

The first time you want to sit on “negative chair” you pause for a second thinking it is impossible to do so. When you look at it from the side, you see the outline of a chair that does not exist and when someone sits on the chair, you see the transformation of its shape and you get the impression that the seated person is suspended in space while feeling very comfortable since the chair will actually take the form of the body and supports it from all angles.

Bend seating by Marc Scimé, completes Bend & Transition, a seating and table ecosystem for open domestic and commercial environments in harmony with modern lifestyles anywhere, anytime, indoors, outdoors and somewhere in between. The Bend sofa prototype is one example of made-to-order seating configurations the modular system can provide, ranging from small stools to extensive seating clusters for open public spaces, such as an airport waiting lounge.

Compass

“The Compass”, a working desk for architects and designers. This desk creates a comfortable workspace for one or two people and provides an opportunity to draw on a sloped surface thanks to a simple mechanism, which transforms part of the top into a drawing board with a fixed 20 degree angle. The shape of the support legs resembles two pairs of compasses. Many metal details were used in line with the idea of a technical drawing tool.

Light line

Considering urban nightlife as a growing possibility worldwide; urban lighting need to be taken care of. The power consumption, urban facade, ergonomics and reasonable costs are the main criteria in this field. Here in Light Line; intelligent interaction of urban furniture has been touched with the concept of complementary couples and lead this design to match both human ergonomics and roadway restrictions. The designer has also made a great attempt to create this urban furniture looks more elegant, while proposing a gentle transform in using industrial metalwork for its main body production.
