Amoeba Wall

Amoeba Wall's design is inspired by the fluid forms and mechanisms of amoeba. It is primarily used as a tangible interface to allow users to achieve efficient workspace reconfiguration and dynamic lighting at the same time. The walls will autonomously shape the room around users such as creating small individual offices, open co-working spaces, and private meeting spaces, responding to their needs. Also, it can also form responsive art installation like an endless maze, or a dancing wall that follows the surrounding music.

Wanda hotel cluster in Sipsongpanna

With a land area of 700 mu, this hotel group, one of the best mountain rain forest resort hotel in the world, is composed of three high-end holiday hotels. Combined with Dai nationality culture, lighting design creates the night in warm, sweet, delicate and artistic atmosphere, which comprehensively expressed the unique Dai nationality culture to the world.

Greed

There ought to be a feeling of unease and discomfort which will serve as a reminder of the greed of people. The extraneous number of legs of both the table and the chair symbolize such greed. The section of the table connected directly to the cluster of legs expresses the descending negative void of greed. The process to achieve this effect was done personally using diverse fox and tail joinery techniques without requiring much other equipment.

Pilo

Pilo is designed by biomedical engineers and industrial designers. It redefines pillow in terms of function and shape. The low-poly structure outlines a suitable curve for the neck and head, and provides the most appropriate supporting height and pressure-relieving angle. The most graceful feature of Pilo is its internal speakers. They work without external power source, and create a high quality sound field which is acoustically adjusted. The accompanying app presents users unprecedented acoustic experience of natural sound. It makes falling asleep easier, and wakes you up in a natural way.

Iceberg

The Iceberg table is designed to attract awareness about global warming and its effect on water level and melting icebergs in north and south poles, the glass panel have the ability to rotate around axis to maximize serving function. The lower glass panel represents the water level in the past, the upper panel represents the water level after melting icebergs. The table is made of 2 oval panels of clear glass and iceberg shaped white acrylic made by CNC machines.

C 39

C 39 is the transformative state of a pill that implies a seating form. As the exterior body is partially cut, the interior particles are exposed - these particles are made of post-consumer recycled fibre and soft enough to function as cushions. As a person sits or lies down inside C 39, one can experience partial encapsulation of the body, and physically interact with the interior particles.
