Hug

Hug is intended for a reclined sitting posture that anatomically hugs its users. It was inspired by the act of hugging and the feeling of being welcome and safe. As an alternative to the fast and stressful daily life, hug offers a relaxation experience. Its extremely thin and resistant steel plate shell maximizes internal space and minimizes the use of materials. Its cushion is filled with foam and feathers, which favors comfort, and its base is made from wood, which emphasizes the design of the upholstered body. Hug comes with an ottoman.

LOTUS DOME

LOTUS DOME is a living dome made out of hundreds of smart flowers which fold open in response to human behavior. It was placed in Sainte Marie Madeleine Church in Lille LOTUS DOME where it created an interactive play of light and shadow. As a futuristic vision of the Renaissance, LOTUS DOME merges elements of architecture and nature into an interactive environment. LOTUS is also realized as a curved 4 x 2 meters wall.

Boucle

The project is a bench for domestic and corporate use, made of multilayer sheets with walnut veneer finish, thermoformed in aluminum mold and naturally cooled. The bench has playful characteristics and at the same time has a strong connection with the Brazilian concretist architecture. The curves of the feet resemble old wooden toys, where the blocks were overlapped and overlapped, forming small houses or bridges.

Image is a single person sofa. The purpose of design is to use modern and international design language to reproduce the spirit of oriental landscapes and re-innovate the furniture designs based on tradition and nature. The design inspiration derives from the famous Chinese painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains of Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368). For the presentation manner of traditional culture in modern society, more possibilities are explored in the design. The design provides a good experience for the user. This furniture is suitable for young people's aesthetic and lifestyle.

"Knitted" - Lighting Collection

A series of lightings that combines technology with tradition. Knitting acrylic threads in fixed patterns with wool crochet, creates a three-dimensional sheet of fabric which serves as a lighting fixture. The project was born from a collaboration between the designers Ariel Zuckerman and Oded Sapir . The process of developing the fabric, with the aid of textile designer Adva Bruner, led to the combination of an industrial knitted fabric with a handmade crochet detail. Fitting the fabric onto a rigid skeletal structure creates a light fixture with an organic feel and a rich colourfulness.
