IO Doodle Box

IO Doodle Box is a portable storage unit designed to accommodate children’s interest in learning, drawing and creating. The unit has integrated wheels that allow children to easily and independently move it around. In addition, IO Doodle Box doubles as a bench seat with internal storage for art work and a removable tray for drawing and painting accessories which ensures that materials are always at hand. The piece accommodates a roll of paper which when pulled out and over the lid creates a drawing board and further invites children to draw and doodle spontaneously whenever the mood strikes.

Andromeda

The name Andromeda comes from the famous galaxy visible to the naked eyes from Earth, and it is inspired by the macroscopic and primordial beauty of light. The lamp has two different light sources, one directed to the bottom and one diffused to the top, which can be switched on or off separately. The diffused one is based on LED edge lighting technology and creates a starry sky effect thanks to 170 different-sized holes scattered along the lower surface. The bottom one, also based on LED technology, is accessorized by an innovative and simply-to-use interchangeable lens system.

Comfort Zone

Comfort Zone is a bench designed for interior spaces and waiting lounges for utmost comfort. The design combines contemporary materials in a way that supports repairability that promotes sustainable cycles in the long term. The cushioned parts are fixed on top of the wooden bench and can be replaced easily without disassembling the whole product. The seating surfaces also offer customisation with colours and materials for the use environment.

Spin

A table , a lamp, a piece to decoration. This piece is singular and trendy, inspired by the flexible use of space, and the interaction of the user with the furniture, also through the possibilities of uses and provisions. The contraposition of materials and forms are one of the highlights of this design. The top of the table turned in pine wood rests on a lightweight slim metal base , giving lightness and beauty to the piece.

Karekla

The Karekla-chair is a hybrid chair created from a series of neglected wooden shells. A simple adjustment of cutting the shell into segments made it into this one of a kind design, upcycling it and giving it a new life. When one decides to sit in the chair, the segments will succumb to the weight of the user and create a comfortable seating. After standing back up again the shell returns to it’s original shape. It's unusual and abstract appearance makes the user uncertain of it's primary function bringing a sort of comical twist to the whole concept.
