Shroom

Shroom is an Led pendant luminaire. The light is stylized to resemble the shape of a mushroom. Using thin gauge aluminum shapes, the mushroom gills, thirty in all, form the unique shape of the Shroom light. Shroom is an Led pendant luminaire that illuminates from both it's inner core and a down light. The illumination from with in casts a play of light onto the aluminum gills. An array of colors results from the glow of its inner core. The designer of the Shroom light was inspired by the story of Alice in Wonderland to create this fixture.

Bob

The Bob Lamp re-imagines the bold, expressive and garish affectations of postmodernism through the authentic re-investment in ‘real’ materials. Made from hand cast concrete with recycled glass aggregates its weight, size and form allows it to interchange between a small table lamp, heavy enough to withstand an accidental bump and a pendant fixture, light enough to be hung from the ceiling. As a table lamp the wavy base is a series of legs allowing for the cord to pass between, when hung the waves become a crown. The gold half-round bulb does double duty as light source and lampshade.

XX Stool

The need for a collapsible and multifunctional furniture came when exploring the needs and design solutions in small spaces. The challenge was to design the furniture as compact, light and as useful as possible. The legs are made out of steel to provide support and stability, they are designed to form two X's that enable the stool to collapse for transportation or storage. It is designed for people who live in small spaces or anyone who would like to save space in their living or working areas. XX Stool can be used as a stool, book/magazine storage and a side table.

Sputnik

The Sputnik Chair is directly inspired from the Sputnik satellite. The world’s first artificial satellite was about the size of a beach ball (58cm, or 22.8inches, in diameter). Harow achieved to use the exact diameter of the satellite for the seat. As simple as it looks, it is a real technical challenge in its making. Its 4 asymmetric feet reflect the satellite antenna which are very thin. It was a big challenge to make them ensure a flawless contact with the ground. Simple, crude and made out of steel, the chair also demonstrates how basic materials can be used with elegance.
