Hitotaba

Designed by Shinn Asano with background in graphic design, Sen is a 6 piece collection of steel furniture that turns 2D lines into 3D forms. Each piece including “hitotaba lamp” has been created with lines that minimize excess to express both form and functionality in a range of applications, inspired by unique sources such as traditional Japanese craft and patterns. Hitotaba lamp is inspired by the scenic view of the Japanese countryside where bundles of rice straw are hung downwards to dry after harvesting.

Blossom

This fixture is an example of looking outside the box...Instead of using an electronic wall dimmer switch to set the mood, this lamp uses a series of Bronze pulleys and cables that articulate eight bent birch arms. Using a hand crank located on a wall near the power switch the user can raise and lower the diffuser arms to trap or release the desired amount of light for the occasion.

Floating Garden

These Hanging Flower Pots are “floating” in the air and thus emphasize space and dimensions in the room because of the 3D effect. It’s a completely new way to decorate your home with living plants and flowers, in a very unique and elegant way. The perfect balance is provided by the combination of the feminine shapes and masculine materials in one minimalistic design. The Floating Garden fits perfectly into any modern interior and it also fulfils nowadays food-lovers' dreams, to grow their own herbs in their modern kitchen in a very decorative way.

Centopéia

Inspired by the nature, the Centopéia Bench/Table ( Centipede in english) was designed to imitate the real life with the idea of a moving insect. We found inspiration in an animal typical from our Brazilian tropical forest. The Centipede, as such an exotic animal, was perfect for what we were looking for, creating a funny object.

Nest

Nest is a sofisticated and distinguished outdoor lounge chair that embraces you as a mother’s lap. The assimetric aesthetics, generates a new shape in every side that we look and allows a much more pleasant use, with a dynamic exclusive visualization. The whole tridimensional prototype was developed inside a graphic design software. Mathematical functions allows to create random curves easily with beauty.

Musketeers

The Musketeers. Simple. Elegant. Functional. The Musketeers are three-legged stools made of powder-coated aluminum bent into shape with laser-cut powerful legs. A three-legged base has been proven geometrically to be actually more stable and has least chance of wobbling than having four.
