Parachute

When listening to Coldplay's first album, it suddenly occurred to the designer to look up the word parachute. It seems that the name parachute comes combining the Italian parare (to protect) with the French chute (to fall). Yusuke Watanabe thought that was a rather fine name. Yusuke Watanabe tried to think of devices that protect against falling. When in use, the plank for the section being used falls, and hangs there. Their coat, their magazine and more this protects them from falling. The sight of looking down on their parachute from up above is rather pleasing, too.

Obj01

The Obj01 lamp was designed during the pandemic, at a time when it was not possible to go outside, buy materials or visit production workshops. Manu wanted to design an object to inhabit his home during the pandemic, so he started making models using a cutter knife and cardboard boxes from online purchases he made, since cardboard was the only material he had at home. The design process was focused on generating simple cuts on cardboard sheets and through those simple cuts generate new functions or uses for the object. In this case the idea was to generate a lampshade through a simple cut.

Vortex

The Vortex is customized by the lightness of its asymmetrical form, referring to an imagery of space deformation, resulting in its striking image and dominant presence. Breaking with any definite convention of beauty, Vortex assumes itself as a brand image, establishing a new paradigm of fire harmony. Vortex presents two different combustion solutions: Traditional Wood and with a Bioethanol Automatic Burner.

Leaf

Influenced by palm leaves, the designer created an elegant pendant light that gives a different impression from every viewing angle. The unique shape of this fixture makes it a captivating and outstanding element of any room. This effect gets emphasized by the ever changing tones and colours of the poles that vary according to the light conditions.

tianjin vanke jade avenue sales office

Yet small with its two entrances and three distinct layers of arches that differ by depth, height and width, the Tianjin Vanke Jade Avenue Sales Center, located in the Qingxi district of Tianjin, China, was treated, from a lighting point of view, as a key project by taking advantage of the waterscape to virtually double its volume with a simple and functional lighting design which ensures that visitors are welcome in a space that has the potential to become part of their future housing compound.

Bandage

The Bandage sofa is a smart product for offices or homes. When members of Bogdanova Bureau team started to design this piece of furniture, they first of all thought about the comfort. The first thing, which you imagine when you think about the sofa is a dozen uncomfortable pillows, moving from side to side and making your rest miserable. Design team seen this problem often and decided to fix it with the special bandage system.
