5x5

The story about the 5x5 LED lamp comes together with the 5x5 chair introduced and awarded previous year. The chair's unique material characteristic required tiles’ dimensions of approximately 5x5 cm. Therefore the same dimensions were the starting point for the lamp. In order to avoid the direct form's repetition the 5x5 cm is applied in a form of rhombus, the main modular structure part of the lamp. Several lamps mounted together offer the possibility to create different lighting patterns like zig-zag, diagonal line, the shape of an arrow, or other shapes by using designer's own creativity.

Beijing Jinyu Vanke Plaza

The Beijing Jinyu Vanke Plaza is a new shopping center in the city’s northwestern district of Changping, home to the Ming Dynasty Tombs. The 140,000 m2 mall, from developer Vanke, aims to bring international style to this up-and-coming area. It includes a department store, supermarket, entertainment facilities, restaurants and other services. The shopping center’s architecture, designed by Woods Bagot, is characterized by sweeping curves and a neutral color palette. It incorporates as much daylight as possible, with a long organic shaped skylight over the main atrium.

Plexus

PleXus it is lamp takes on the desired shape and size parameters. The design consists of a grid of modules created from the hinges and has a lighting function. Colors noticed this plexus of modern, affordable and beautiful subject of an interior. It is lightweight and has a metallic color (matte aluminum, black chrome). Also it is design can be used on street and as a field for your imagination.

Strata

The designer sought to create a piece of furniture that acted as both a functional seat as well as a sculptural conversation piece. Strata was created using digital 3D modeling, allowing for the exploration of many possibilities before a final design was chosen. The wood 'bricks' are cut from sheets of plywood using CNC technology, and assembled by hand. The surfaces of the seat and footrest are polished to a shine, and contrast the exterior surface of the overall form. When not in use, the footrest can be placed on the seat, transforming the chair into a purely sculptural piece.

vosled

With the glass bulb, the LED-filament and the transparent ring between the glass bulb and the socket, the vosLED looks like Edison’s classic, does, however, only get hand-warm and weighs in with only 35 g. So it opens completely new opportunities to light designers and lighting manufacturers. The combination of different materials for leading and shielding of light for design and presentation reaches a completely new dimension. At the same time it uses all the potential of the LED-technology: a 90 percent lower energy consumption, ten times the lifetime and simple recycling.
