Cloud

This is a cloud-like chair that is raining. The seating surface enables a cloud-like expression by piercing polyester fiber into the polyurethane foam with a needle. It was inspired by Needle Felting. A high seat gives the seated person a floating. Stainless steel round bars are 5mm in diameter. There are 100 thin stainless steel bars. In addition, the mirror-like stainless steel legs and pedestal made it possible to express the rain.

Nina and Beni

Inspired by the aerodynamic yet efficient forms of naval construction the Nina & Beni chair is made from 100% sustainably sourced forests.Two steam-bent strips cantilever over the seat to serve first as legs then armrest and finally mold to the lumbar area. In an exercise of efficiency the Nina chair uses the least amount of material to create beautiful complex forms. Crafted with century old technology along with modern 3d machinery the Nina & Beni chair tests the limits of what is possible with wood.

Coupe

This stool is designed to help one to maintain neutral sitting-standing posture. By observing people’s daily behavior, the design team found the need for people to sit on stools for a shorter period of time such as sitting in the kitchen for a quick break, which inspired the team to create this stool specifically to accommodate such behavior. This stool is designed with minimal parts and structures, making the stool affordable and cost-efficient for both buyers and sellers by taking into account the productivity of manufactures.

Relio

The Relio is a professional lamp for Arts and Sciences. Portable, transformable and modular, accommodates a variety of usages: Cinema, Painting, School, Medical uses, Archaeology. Many parts are 3D-printed and many are open-source, to allow limitless expandability. Relio's light is engineered to be extremely similar to Sunlight, so that a professional can work under ideal lighting conditions almost everywhere, with very long service life and minimal-to-none maintenance.

Gates of Light

GATES OF LIGHT brings the monumental structures on the Afsluitdijk (legendary Dutch dike built in 1932) back to their former glory. In the dark, the architecture of these structures is illuminated by the headlamps of passing cars, reflecting the light through small prisms. If there are no cars on the road, the structures are not illuminated. This way of using light requires zero energy and does not contribute to light pollution.
