Ydin

Ydin stool can be mounted by yourself, without using special tools, thanks to a simple interlocking system. The 4 identical feet are placed in no particular order and the concrete seat, acting as the keystone, keeps everything in place. Feet are made with scrap wood coming from a stairs manufacturer, easily machined using traditional woodworking techniques and finally oiled. The seat is simply moulded in a lasting fiber-reinforced UHP Concrete. Only 5 dissociable parts to be flat packed and ready to be shipped to final customers, is another sustainability argument.

Light sources of this unique lamp are placed in center of the overall shape, so it illuminates a soft and uniform light source. The light surfaces is separable from the main body so simple body shape with lower parts plus saving energy through low consumption of electricity gives it an extra feature. Also touchable body for turning the light ON or OFF is another modern feature of this unique light. Expression leads to differences in lighting and lighting of the lamp has been designed. Axteroid

Axteroid is a versatile lighting product due to the fact that it can be used as a ceiling lamp or as a floor lamp. This multiple usage and adaptation is possible because of it's inventive shape wich helps guide the light in five focused points and, when used on the floor, makes use of two optimal illuminating angles. The lamp is designed to illuminate on specific points without allowing great dispertion of of light on it's sourroundings, thus creating strong shades and warm, well defined areas of light. The outcome is a scenographic light setting in any interior they are placed.

EVOLUTION

“evolution” is a hanging lamp composed by a recycled aluminum plate supporting light diffusers where the “oled” flexible films are side by side along their bending. all the diffusers are the same, but it 's possible, by structurally different plates, to insert more diffusers inside the lamp and in this way to obtain a more decorative lamp. as regard the material to be used for the diffusers i thought to use a corn biopolymer since it’s easily workable and thermoformable. the most interesting aspect of “evolution” is its continously evolving..
